www.integrazionemigranti.gov.it: a 'compass' for migrants to orient themselves
The new web portal provides a gateway to information on local services offered to foreign nationals. Its purpose is to facilitate their integration into Italian society
A gateway to local services offered to foreign nationals living in Italy. It is the new compass web portal which was inaugurated yesterday with the aim of facilitating the integration of migrants into Italian society.
Information and content are grouped into the following categories: Education and learning, Employment, Housing and local government, Access to essential services, Minors and second-generation immigrants.
Information provided will enable foreign nationals to identify services available from public and private entities at local level.
The new web portal, co-financed by the European Fund for the Integration of third-country nationals, was developed in collaboration between the ministries of Labour and Social policy, Interior, Education, University and Research and the minister for International cooperation and Integration. Coordination activities were carried out by the directorate-general for Immigration and Integration policy.
